Bole Hole Projects

We are currently analyzing some bole hole projects that are available from the government of Ghana. These bole holes are to be undertaken in some selected communities in the country. It is aimed at making use and tapping the water resources that are available in some communities but are unknown to them and not being utilized.

SL assists farmers in  Volta Region

SL is organizing about 40 farmers to take up the cultivation of vegetables on a 20-acre land in the Volta Region of Ghana. The farmers will be provided with an initial sum of 500,000 ghana cedis each in aid to start the farming. They are expected to be remunerated further after this NGO has organized the sale of the produce. This organization welcomes any form of support or co-operation from local and organizations.

SL for Central and Western Regions

SL has held two successive meetings with the Chiefs and opinion leaders in some selected areas in the Central and Western Regions of Ghana in connection with the underprivileged and underdeveloped areas in their respective regions for a possible assistance from the organization. During these meetings various problems ranging from education, health, and environmental sanitation were identified. Based on these problems the management of SL has decided to provide some assistance in this respect during 2018.

Emergency Relief at Ada Area

Recently, SL had to come to the aid of some communities near Ada in the Greater Accra Region whose homes were destroyed by rainfall. The picture on the right shows members of the communities offloading the relief items (food) which were sent to them.
